Does RobotCopier support MT4 or cTrader?
RobotCopier copies MT5 accounts today. MT4 and cTrader bridges are in beta and not generally available yet — here's what that means and what to do meanwhile.
Short answer: MT5 only, for now. RobotCopier connects to MetaTrader 5 accounts. MT4 — also written MT 4 or MetaTrader 4 — and cTrader bridges are in beta and are not generally available.

What works today
Any MT5 broker. Both sides of a copy — the master and every follower — need to be MT5 accounts. There is nothing to install: no Expert Advisor, no VPS, no desktop bridge.
Can I copy from MT4 to MT5, or the reverse?
Not currently. Both accounts must be MT5. Cross-platform copying is exactly what the MT4 and cTrader bridges are being built to do, and it is not ready yet.
Why MT5 first
MT5 is the platform brokers are actively moving to, and its API exposes things MT4's does not — netting/hedging modes, richer symbol metadata, and per-deal history that lets us produce a signed audit receipt for every fill. Building the MT5 path properly first means the MT4 bridge inherits a copy engine that is already proven, rather than shipping two half-finished ones.
If your broker offers both
Many brokers give you an MT5 account on the same login and the same funds. If yours does, opening an MT5 account is usually the fastest route — it needs no change on our side and you can start copying immediately.
